A Jeweler's Eye

What is a jeweler's eye? A jeweler's eye is willingness and open-mindedness to look at the situation with fresh, sharp and clear eyes. Normally when I suffer physically, mentally, and emotionally I would tend to minimize it or try to ignore it, deny it or wallow in anger or sorrow. Ignoring or denying or suppressing my suffering has not helped me. I have been learning to accept my suffering mindfully, compassionately, openly and with equanimity. Going through suffering with this open and curious mindset has taught me the value of my suffering and relating to other's sufferings with empathy and loving kindness.

We all suffer physically, mentally, and emotionally. The question is how do we relate to our suffering and what we learn from it.

Namaste!

Hello:)

A jeweler works with precious gems and stones. I can visualize every situation in my life with particular gem qualities. A jeweler looks for cut, color and clarity in a diamond..

My intuitive, third eye and vision from my heart perceive life’s moments with objectivity from using breath and mindfulness to see a situation from different angles and magnification as a jeweler’s eye would view a gemstone; a diamond in the rough.

As Dr Dave’ discussed , our relationship with ourselves as the foundation becomes our “jeweler eye “ magnifier and determines how we see our life before us.

Think of a rose, see the rose, feel the softness of the petals, smell its glorious fragrance. See the diamond, experience the reflections and reflections of light, see the colors of rainbow in every glisten.

My jeweler eye sees both internal and external rainbows which correlate to the energy zones of the chakras aligning with the spine, brain, vertebral column.

All is one. Nothing is separate.

In this stillness and awareness of my breath, I ascend and thrive.

Namaste

Elaine

Who would have ever thought that my body would receive A Jeweler's Eye. Then, that special gift became alive in me. In my confusion around 29 years, I couldn't see nor understand what's real normal compared to the sick normal? It was suggested that I put the plug in the jug. Alcohol was making my life unmanageable.

The back hills of TN, Aunt Doris, and I on the porch swing sharing heavy deep conversations, What's wrong with you? Nothing. Yet, inside my mind is racing. Afraid to live and afraid to die. Deep Conversations with my GSH Professor That's when the Jeweler's Eye was planted. Dr. Whitaker was one of my Professors who was an examiner of my documentations to receive credits on life experience too, She scheduled for an oral exam for Women's Psychology. I'm a factory worker - will I pass because I attended a few seminars? Yes, I did. She was very pleased I had a deep understanding of my own inner work. My style of learning is listening. I became a student with her, got in touch with my anger against an Uncle who I call Screwy Lewy. She called when I arrived home, she saw my behavior change in class by twisting and twisting a pencil intensely. This must be normal that others will check in to see if I’m OK.

JP was and is my hero serval times to find the light with my Jeweler's Eye. Another Professor who taught Transcendental Meditation. I wish I remember his name. During the class discussion he asked any volunteers. Yes. I couldn't afford treatment. I learned how to embrace mindful meditation with the Cenacle Sisters. I went deep with his gentle voice as I continued to go deeper. Suddenly, he asked what did the teacher say? My words loudly as I jumped out of seat, "Sit down! You CAN'T read!" He asked, “Where are you? 5th grade.” Who's sitting by you Tim O'Shea and Fred Mar Kunis. Who was sitting by you in 6th grade? I don't remember. At 30 the Jewel Eye planted the greatest seed of all with the smallest seed that eventually grew 30 year later I received eye therapy to assist with an unknow Vision Disability - Vision Tracking. My Jewel's Eye shined brightly with becoming an author of three historical memoirs books in age 70s.
